SafetyAware is a safety support solution designed for isolated workers, facilitating communication with a monitoring center around the clock. The system utilizes the device's GPS receiver to log location data and associates it with the user's device ID and company profile at the monitoring center. Users can conveniently check-in, specify their end-of-shift time, activate safety timers for hazardous scenarios, request assistance, or trigger alerts with a simple tap on the screen.

• Access to SafetyAware necessitates a subscription to an authorized Gemini monitoring center.

Features:

Monitored Alerts:

• When logged in, your device appears on the active device list at the monitoring center. Sending a help request or missing a safety check-in produces an alert. The monitoring center will contact you to assess the situation and initiate appropriate follow-up procedures according to company policy.

Auto-Dial:

• In case GPS or server connectivity is interrupted, users can directly call the monitoring center via a designated button and provide relevant details.

Automatic Positioning:

• While SafetyAware is operational, your GPS location updates and logs continuously at the monitoring center, ensuring that your last known position is available in case of an emergency.

Manual Location Entry:

• An alternative option allows manual entry of location details if GPS signals are unavailable or unreliable, such as indoors.

Safety Timer:

• The safety timer prompts periodic check-ins based on predefined intervals. Check-ins can be performed by any movement exceeding a set distance or by tapping the screen after prolonged stationary periods. The system notifies you when it’s time to check-in and raises an alert if overdue. The check-in interval is configurable by your organization and can be enabled or disabled according to specific operational requirements.

Sign Off Timer:

• This timer monitors your shift duration, providing alerts as your scheduled end approaches or if you are overdue. Its settings are fully customizable to suit different shifts or circumstances.

Hazard Timer:

• This feature enables setting a countdown timer when entering potentially unsafe environments. Users can add comments and extend or cancel the timer as needed. If the timer expires without cancellation, an alert will be generated.

Limitations: The user interface is not supported on iPhone 4 (3.5-inch display).
